Line Officers - lineofficers@yorkanafireco.orgMark Enders - Chief This is the third position I have held in the Fire Company. I was 2nd Lieutenant, and Assistant Chief. I have held positions in other Fire Companies. I have been a member since 2007. I am on the Truck Committee and am an Assistant Juniors� Advisor. I love to serve and protect the community that I live in.Mark.Enders@yorkanafireco.org David Bardo- Deputy Chief David.Bardo@yorkanafireco.org Charles Hose - Assistant Chief I have been Vice President, 2nd Lieutenant, 1st Lieutenant, and Junior�s Advisor all for one year each. I was the Captain for three years. I have been a member since I was fourteen and joined as a junior in 1996. I am currently on the Truck Committee, Building Committee, and By-Laws Committee. I originally joined the Fire Company for the thrills, but later it turned to wanting to serve the public and help save lives and personal property. I have been a member since I joined in 1996, as a junior at the age of fourteen. I am currently on the Website Committee. I joined the Fire Company because my father was a member, and then my brother became interested in the fire service. I was Captain for one year, 2nd Lieutenant for two years, and 1st Lieutenant for one year. I am on the Truck Committee. I joined the Fire Company to help other people and serve my community. In all this time I have been a Fire Police Lieutenant, Recording Secretary, and now Fire Police Captain. Executive Officers board@yorkanafireco.orgMatthew Flinchbaugh - President I was raised all my life at Yorkana Fire Company as my mother, father, brother, and sister were all members. The fire company is my second family. The trainings I have taken were all to serve the community better. I love being a volunteer, and helping my community in this way. I have been Secretary for 21 non-consecutive years. I have been the Assistant Treasurer for the Fire Company and Treasurer for the Relief Association. I joined to help educate children in fire safety (I developed the Fire Company�s current program) and I wanted to help the community. I have been a member since 1992, when I joined as a Junior. I am currently Chairman for the Fund Drive, Open House, and Fire Prevention Program. I was a Junior at another Fire Company before joining Yorkana. In that time I have been Assistant Treasurer for the Fire Company and Relief Association, and Juniors� Advisor, all for one year each. I have been the Treasurer for the Fire Company for three years and the Relief Association for two years. I am on the Building, By-Laws, and Website Committees. I am Chairman of the Dinner Committee, and Co-Chair of the Fundraising Committee. I wanted to be a firefighter because I was raised in the Fire Company and it is in my �blood�. I joined this Fire Company because of friendship that has now turned to family. I saw the good done by firefighters. I wanted to help people and make the Fire Company into something good and prosperous. I joined to spend more time with my husband and to help others in need.
